This position will serve as the Recruitment Coordinator for the Head Impact and Trauma Surveillance Study (HITSS), a 5-year, NIH-funded, multi-center research grant to examine the long-term cognitive, mood, and behavioral consequences of repetitive head impact exposure in former soccer and American football players. The position is responsible for all marketing, advertising, and social media recruitment activities of this 5 year, multi-center, NIH-funded clinical research study, with the goal of successfully enrolling 2400 former soccer players (1200 women, 1200 men) and 2400 former American football players over a 3.5 year period. The former players will come from across the U.S., be between ages 40-75, and will have played across varying levels, e.g., only youth, up through high school, up through college, or elite/professional. Once enrolled, individuals will participate in a groundbreaking longitudinal research study, conducted entirely online.
