Advisors will also work with one or more special populations: academically at-risk students, exploratory/undeclared students, pre-health students, pre-law students, transfer students. Project assignments are based on advisor interest and office need. This position requires occasional participation in job-related activities outside of traditional work hours.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree is required, preferably in student personnel, higher education, counseling or related fields, along with relevant work experience. To be considered for hire at the Associate In level, applicants should have at least five years of achievement in academic advising.  All candidates for employment are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of criminal records, reference checks, and verification of education.
