Location: New Orleans, LA


In collaboration with the Executive Director for Creative, the Photo Editor/Senior Photographer and the Digital Resources Coordinator, the photographer shoots quality photographs of subjects and events to support and advance the university's overall communications and marketing strategy and service delivery missions. The photographer delivers appropriate photography to be used for specific media; edits, processes and manages photography files in keeping with the standards set by the Creative Team. This includes attending key events and building a strong catalog of images to be used by offices across the university. This position may supervise student workers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in photography, film or the visual arts)
  • Three years experience as a professional photographer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Video filming and editing experience
  • Familiarity with web-based Content Management Systems
  • Supervisory and training experience preferred
