Answer telephone inquiries concerning technology including questions regarding usernames, passwords, MFA, networking, email, general purpose software and hardware.
Install and configure desktop computer systems running Windows, Macintosh OS and peripherals.
Help faculty and staff get connected to the campus network via VPN from off-campus and wireless or wired connections on-campus.
Relocate desktop computers, projectors and peripherals in labs, classrooms, and faculty/staff offices as required.
Interact with coworkers and supervisor to determine customer support procedures that benefit the campus community.
Research, quote, and deploy new hardware and software purchases.
Assist with virus/malware remediation.
$13.27 - $20.00 Commensurate with experienceShift
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Experience supporting computer device hardware, software and operating systems.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Macintosh support experience.
Strong customer service skills
Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
Experience with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, computer management systems such as Configuration Manager and JAMF, Active Directory and Group Policy would be desirable.Benefit Eligibility
