Job Description

Data collection involving human subjects, including both laboratory and mobile (smartphone) data collection methods. Laboratory session involves the administration of alcohol to subjects, so an ideal candidate would have experience with alcohol research. Responsibilities include recruiting and scheduling subjects, tracking and following up with subjects during mobile data collection period; data coding and data entry involving use of computer spreadsheets; basic data management; management of day-to-day operations of the lab; scheduling and training undergraduate assistants; keeping track of and ordering needed supplies. Familiarity with statistics, programming skills, and previous research experience are all highly desirable.


Salary Range: $15.29-$16.00 per hour

Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related discipline, laboratory experience, training in data collection with human subjects, excellent dependability and interpersonal skills.
