Job Description:

Duties and Tasks: The incumbent will function as part of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of the mission critical information systems that support the College’s business processes – People Soft Student / Human Resource Information System and all related subsystem. Responsible for requirement analysis and translating the business rules into technical solutions by writing software and integrating applications and systems. This includes the legacy SIS and the PeopleSoft SIS and HR technical solutions.

Special Assignments:

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications:

Required KSAs: Proficiency and Technical Training in People Soft Student Information and Human Resources system. Ability to work on the PC platform. Ability to work independently and determine methodology. Skilled to be logical and detail oriented from requirement analysis to development and testing to ensure error free product. Proficiency in Oracle SQL query development. SQR report development in the People Soft SIS environments.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or a combination of education, training, and experience. Previous experience with Oracle SQL query development. Previous experience with SQR report development in the People Soft SIS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience and proficiency in Oracle, SQR, People Soft SIS and query development. Significant experience and demonstrated ability to function on the PC platform. Experience working independently and developing methodology. Experience in data processing. Recent training in Microsoft Office suite.
