Job Description:

SLAs will strive to support a welcoming environment which fosters education through leadership and service.
The SLA for Youth & Senior Programming will be responsible for administering tasks for our Adopt-A-Grandparent, ECU Writes, & Pirate PALS program. Tasks include:
•Maintain communication with community partners and volunteers
•Promote programs and recruit volunteers
•Plan activities for programs and advertise through Engage portal and social media
•Check, sort, and transport letters for ECU Write pen pal program
•Lead monthly Leadership Team Meetings
•Provide transportation for volunteers with office van

This position is contingent on funding and may be switched to Federal Work-Study

Rate of pay: $8.00/hour

There is a mandatory training required for this position. Training will be TBD.

Must have a valid driver’s license with 3-year driving history.

This position is for Fall 2021 & Spring 2022
Work start date: August 23rd, 2021
Work end date: April 26th, 2022
