Regular Full-time, Pay Grade 105

The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc.(UTFI), seeks two (2) Gift Records Specialists  for the Alumni & Donor Records office in Knoxville, Tennessee.  The Gift Records Specialist is responsible for daily implementation of gift/pledge processing activities for the University of Tennessee.  Duties include, but are not limited to, gift and pledge entry, maintenance of records, and research to ensure allocations of donations are preformed accurately. The Gift Records Specialist will receipt and acknowledge gifts.  Utilizing ANDI and IRIS, the university accounting system, the Gift Records Specialist enters and maintains confidential financial, biographic, and demographic information regarding alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations who are key prospects or donors to the university all the while providing excellent customer service.  Knowledge of general audit and balance procedures are critical for the integrity of the information being handled.  

 

The Foundation is an interdependent nonprofit corporation that enriches the lives of the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University of Tennessee through alumni engagement, financial stewardship and private investments. In central services, nearly 50 employees work together to engage and build meaningful relationships with alumni to raise financial, public and political support for the University of Tennessee.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required with a minimum of 3 years of professional office experience preferably with fundraising enterprise systems and/or financial operations. The ideal candidate will be highly supportive of and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Job Skills:

This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills.  Microsoft Office Software proficiency is expected. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform well in a deadline-driven and team-oriented environment, adapt to a changing environment using advanced and complex data entry systems, and be able to maintain accuracy and confidentiality with regards to data.
