This position performs the student financial account collection activities for the University of Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create custom invoicesfor third-party agencies, including military departments
  • Reconcilepayments made by third-party agencies, including military departments
  • Collect on FederalVA (Veteran Affairs) overpayments
  • Collect onaging student accounts. Offer, process, and track payment agreements
  • Assist withplacing and releasing student registration and payment holds
  • Send accountsto outside collection agencies as appropriate. Track accounts at collectionagencies and recall/transfer accounts when necessary
  • Processvarious documents and requests such as qualified tuition reductions,withholding tax and insufficient fund checks

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collections experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Working experience with PeopleSoft
  • Working experience with Financial Aid, Bursar, Registration or Admissions processes
