    We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a Health Information Management Faculty at the University of Toledo Main Campus.

    The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), School of Population Health at the University of Toledo (UToledo), invites applications and nominations for non-tenure track instructional faculty for Heath Information Administration to join the faculty in the Fall of 2021.

    The position is responsible for teaching health information administration courses in this 100% online program.

    Minimum Education Requirements:

      Master’s degree in Education or related field, Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Health Information Management program or Bachelor's degree with HIM Certification from an accredited Health Information Management (HIM) program.
    Certification Requirements:

      Current Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certificati on through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Current AHIMA Coding Credentials is desirable, but not essential.
    Minimum Experience Requirements:

      Substantial background and experience in HIM, with a minimum of two (2) years face-to-face and online teaching experience with a Learning Management System, preferablyBlackboard, and five (5) years’ work in the field of HIM.
