The Application Coordinator for the MAC program is responsible for collecting, organizing, and managing application materials for prospective MAC students. This position will work closely with the admissions team to develop an efficient process flow of application materials. The Application Coordinator will guide applicants through the final stages of the application process and ensure all appropriate documentation (test scores, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) is completed. This individual will closely monitor the submission materials and follow up with applicants accordingly. The Application Coordinator is also responsible for tracking overall prospective student processes and providing summary reports.
The Application Coordinator will work frequently within the prospective student CRM resource, Slate. As a Slate Administrator, the Application Coordinator will become a subject matter expert and provide Slate guidance to the team as necessary. The Application Coordinator will be responsible for pulling data and reports from Slate and/or other systems and providing recommendations based on data analysis.
An active member of the Admissions team, this individual will also share responsibility for attending events, scheduling and conducting interviews, answering inbound inquiries, and other admissions related duties. The Application Coordinator will work closely with prospective students and communicate frequently via telephone, email, and zoom. This individual will manage admissions process and logistics as assigned.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability and willingness to interact with people over phone, email, and/or zoom for a large part of each day.
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple relationships and conversations.
•Extremely detail oriented.
•High proficiency to collect and organize information and documents.
•A customer service orientation, with friendly demeanor.
•Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.
•Strong interpersonal skills including listening, guiding, and problem solving.
•Excellent professional judgment in handling demanding customers.
•Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years work experience.
•Experience with Slate or other CRM.
•Higher education admissions and/or corporate experience.
•Strong presentation skills.
