20-40 hours per week. Generally 9 – 5pm, with some flexibility required when virtually attending meetings with stakeholders or meeting with PIs.Other Work/Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year of coordination/management-level experience in managing or directing a project is desirable.Department Required Skills:
Candidate must be able to develop implementation plans for research, program and technical activities, write clearly, and coordinate activities among a variety of individuals – a core project team, contractors, and a complex organization. They must be able to develop timelines, prioritize competing demands, and work independently and efficiently across a complex team. They must be able to plan and facilitate working meetings and formal presentation meetings. Attention to detail, problem solving, and a demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within and across teams both inside and outside the organization is essential. They must have outstanding organizational and management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to take the initiative on all aspects of the project. They must have ability to draft written text and presentation content. Experience working with Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint. Preferred experience with project startup, working with governmental agency, managing consultation contracts, and managing busy academic executive team.Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:
