Temp Front-End Tech Support Analyst
TemporaryEssential Job Duties:
The position is primarily to support the Precision Sustainable Agriculture (PSA) research network – a national team of scientists, farmers, and agricultural professionals using on-farm monitoring, remote sensing technology, and machine learning to develop a suite of “decision support tools”, and data sharing platforms. The main duties of the position are to implement front-end of web applications that support researchers and work under the supervision of a senior web developer executing the development of “decision support tools” for farmers based on a given software specification and design.Is Time Limited:

-Undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Department Required Skills:
-Must be able to work independently
-Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate and multitask
-App development, deployment, documentation, and maintenance
-Use of git & GitHub to version, host, and document source code
-Basic knowledge of server management, cloud hosting, network security
-Basic knowledge of a range of web frameworks, software design and architecture
-Ability to work in a diverse team, have strong communication and organizational skills
