Salary: $120,000.00

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
Essential:
  • Engage in teaching, scholarship, and service activities as defined in the MSCA contract.
  • Participate in the data collection, analysis and program modifications to achieve and maintain compliance with ARC-PA standards.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records, assist the Program Director with periodic accreditation reports, accreditation site visits, and ongoing program evaluation.
  • Provide leadership and management of all clinical related activities as designated by the PA Program Director.
  • Participate in teaching selected classroom and laboratory classes.
  • Ensure the development of core knowledge, skills and attitudes requisite to the development of competencies required for the successful completion of board examinations and safe practice at the time of entry to the profession.
  • Assist with the development of individualized learning outcomes intended to facilitate each student's potential to achieve while enrolled in the PA program.
  • Participate in curriculum design and program development to include, but not limited to, program manuals, instructional materials and learning objectives.
  • Provide supervision, instruction, advice and counsel to students assigned to the didactic and clinical phase, and thereby facilitate the students' successful completion of all learning outcomes.
  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of qualified applicants, the admissions process, and promote enrollment of students in the PA Program in collaboration with the CGCE Admissions Office.
  • Serve as an "ambassador" for the PA Program through participation in service activities of the program.
  • Identify sources for and participate in the preparation and implementation of grants and contracts supportive of the activities of the College and PA Program.
  • Serve on University-wide and PA Program faculty committees when appointed or elected.
  • Participate in the search process activities of the University and PA Program.
  • Participate in local, state, and national professional organizations for own professional development and to ensure program excellence and appropriateness of curriculum and instruction and its application to clinical instruction.
  • Attend trainings as required.
  • Perform any other job-related functions as assigned by the Program Director



Requirements:

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree required, doctoral degree strongly preferred or in progress,
  • Current board certification, eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant, MD, NP in the State of Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of three years clinical experience (preferred)
  • A minimum of three years Higher Education experience required
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and be able to handle confidential information
  • Current driver's license
