Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Dance, beginning August 9, 2021. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
The Department of Dance is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the lower division, including, but not limited to, Dance and Society, Ballet, Modern, and/or Jazz technique.

Part-time faculty are hired from the school's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online).

Required Qualifications

    M.F.A., earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in dance, or undergraduate degree and equivalent professional experience with technical emphasis in various dance styles.

Preferred Qualifications
    A minimum of two years collegiate and/or professional teaching experience is ideal, along with an established record of professional experience in the field. Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community.
