Description:

The School of Liberal Arts, Department of Theatre and Dance seeks to hire one Visiting Assistant Professor for a one-year, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position in the areas of Theatre Studies, Digital Media Production, and SLAM (Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics Minor).   The appointment will begin 1 July 2021 and will carry an annual salary of $42,000.

The position is a full-time, non-tenure track position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester in areas of Theatre Studies (1), Digital Media Production (1), and SLAM (Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics Minor) (1) per semester.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications:

The candidate is expected to have a terminal MFA degree in Theatrical Design and Technical Production, five years or more professional experience overlapping in all three fields of study, and a record of teaching, preferably at the college level. The best candidates will have experience working as a team.
