The research laboratory of Dr. Catharine Smith in the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology seeks a part-time temporary Research Technician I to assist with research. This temporary position will end August 20, 2021. The selected candidate must have a good working knowledge of mass spectrometry and protein isolation.

- Sets up and performs a variety of lab research tests. Records results, makes observations, analyzes data and interprets results.
- Cleans, sterilizes, operates, and maintains research equipment.
- Coordinates the acquisition of lab supplies.
- Prior work experience not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required.
*Bachelor's degree - Biological Science or related field. *Some experience in research lab. *Must have a good working knowledge of mass spectrometry and protein isolation. *1-2 years' research lab experience.FLSA:
