Position Highlights:

The College of Fine Arts/Arizona Arts invites applicants for the position of Coordinator, Senior of Recruitment, Admissions and Enrollment. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, the successful incumbent will work in a student-centric environment ensuring seamless admission, providing transitional support for students, while offering a superlative application and enrollment experience. This position will develop and implement strategies, using data to inform recommendations towards improving enrollment goals for the college and collaborating with the various School Leaders. They will be responsible for participating in recruitment activities, communications and monitor strategies and procedures that ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment, evaluation, and selection at the College. This position will collaborate with School Leadership to develop and implement strategies that increase applicant pipeline, enrollment yield, and diversity of student body.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage CFA applicant pipeline including university, college, and school admissions coordination
  • Collect and report real-time applications/admits/EF/Orientation data to Academic Leadership; make recommendations for resource distribution toward improving pipelines
  • Design, lead, participate in workshops, presentations and events related to applications and admissions
  • Field questions from potential students and parents, as appropriate and direct them to further information
  • Liaison between University and School to provide for seamless admission and transitional support for students
  • Collaborate with the Schools and marketing staff to generate recruiting material (brochures, swag)
  • Maintain and distribute recruiting materials to school recruiters
  • Process CFA Re-admitted and NMS (No Major Selected) applications
  • Serve on university admissions and enrollment committees
  • Stay current with various NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) Enrollment policies and ensure compliance
  • Develop data-informed recruitment travel strategies; including identifying events; other stake-holders
  • Coordinate and lead Counselor Fly-In events
  • Attend campus and college recruiting and outreach events; attend some regional and national college fairs, high school visits
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
