$15.40Hours Per Week:
Performs a variety of intermediate to complex administrative tasks related to personnel office operations. May work in one specific area of personnel or in a cross-functional role.
Maintains complete, accurate, and up-to-date files and computer databases on employees. Makes first line determination from telephone, walk-ins, or online/email requests; forwarding more complex issues to appropriate individual. Answer routine questions regarding policies and procedures. Performs a variety of intermediate to complex administrative tasks which may include processing forms and employment agreements, filing; compile data for reports, assist with work authorizations, input information into university computer system. Assists with special projects; setting and maintaining project schedule; ensuring completion of project in a timely manner. May require ability to motivate student employees. Maintain the confidentiality of all information.
Two years of office/clerical experience in an office environment. Experience using Microsoft Office suite programs. Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with human resources office experience, payroll procedures experience or Ellucian (Banner) experience.
