Job Description

Prepares and reviews accounting transactions and reports. Assist in the maintenance of the university's accounting system. May recommend and implement changes in department accounting policies and procedures.

Prepare daily deposits.

Prepare wire transfers.

Handle credit card processing for department.

Serves as petty cash and Commerce Card custodian for Athletics Department.

Review expenses for compliance approvals as they relate to NCAA regulations..

Prepare monthly payments for Mizzou Tennis Center clinics; prepare requisitions and vouchers as needed for departments within athletics; prepare journal entries, correcting entries and ISE's as required for athletics.

Prepare/process consulting agreements and contracts.

Assist with RFQ's and bids, as needed, as they relate to massage therapy and Anthony Travel.

Provide fiscal assistance to departments with questions/issues that need higher level processing.

Serve as back-up for Sr Business Support Specialist when out of the office.

Assist with annual athletics department inventory.

Provide parking assistance for student interns, non-employees and volunteer coaches.

Assist with training new staff on department/university fiscal policies.


Salary: $15.29 to $26.11 per hour

Grade: GGS-007

Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; may require some after hour or occasional weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
