Job Summary:

A scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Gold (https://sites.google.com/site/btgoldlaboratory) to participate in NIH funded projects. The position involves ongoing research on neurocognitive aging using MRI methods. Specific research focuses on identifying the effects aging, vascular pathologies and Alzheimer’s disease pathologies on distributed brain networks and cognitive performance. Job responsibilities include: analyzing MRI data and generating summary measures; aiding the development of new MRI analysis methods; correlating MRI results with biofluid measures of Alzheimer’s disease, vascular markers and neuroinflammatory markers; writing manuscripts and giving scientific presentations.

Preferred Education/Experience:

PhD in neuroscience or psychology and two or more years of postdoctoral experience.
