Position Summary:

The University of Georgia Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic invites 1L, 2L, and 3L applications for the position of part-time temporary assistant to support the work of the Family Justice Clinic. The assistant will be expected to work 30 hours a week for 6-8 weeks during summer.

The job may involve assisting the Clinic Director with phone intake and client screening, in-person client interviews, fact and background investigation, records search and retrieval, case planning and hearing preparation, file management, court attendance, and other office functions as needed.

Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will talk, hear, sit, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
