The Assistant Professor-Practice Teaching Track is a 9-month faculty line. The assigned teaching load is three courses per semester and is based on the faculty member's qualifications and experience. This position has both a clinical practice scholarship and a service activity component along with the teaching role. All new faculty have a mentorship team that guides his/her scholarship and teaching activities during the first year at the College.Minimum Qualifications:Candidates should have a DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution at time of application, eligible for RN licensure in the state of Florida; a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in acute care/medical surgical nursing and teaching experience in a BSN program preferred.Salary:Commensurate with ExperienceCollege or Department:College of NursingLocation:DavieWork Days and Hours:NAApplication Deadline: 2021-08-09-07:00Special Instructions to Applicant: This position is open until filled and may close without prior notice.

Prior to appointment, the candidate must submit official, sealed transcripts from all institutions where graduate coursework was attempted, whether or not a degree was obtained, as well as an original NACES evaluation, if applicable. Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University not to you as the student.
