Job Summary:

The Partners in Education program at Grinnell College has a one-year post-baccalaureate position available for the 2021-22 academic year. This position is supervised out of the Academic Advising Office and serves in the capacity of an academic coach. The program employs two post-bacs, who work together to support mostly 1st and 2nd year students who are facing academic challenges, in both individual and group settings. Hours are mostly evenings and weekends. Will be required to take ASC 101 Scholars’ Seminar course in fall semester. This .75 FTE position is 10 months: August-May and is benefit eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to work late afternoon, evenings, and weekends.
• Evidence of ability to work with others (peers and young adults) in a respectful and sensitive manner
•Effective interpersonal skills
•Values diversity, equity, and inclusion
•Good writing, speaking and organizational skills
