Our team is a group of dedicated and talented board-certified ENT doctors and members of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Our ear, nose and throat specialists are highly rated and respected in Orange County, CA and beyond, helping patients who seek the utmost in care and state-of-the-art treatment options while also expanding education for otolaryngologists across the country.Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer and the attending physician, the employee is responsible for supervising the daily functions of the Irvine satellite clinic. Monitors clinic activity and maintains patient flow and takes appropriate action to ensure effective and efficient patient care. Oversees overall clinic workflow and assures that all administrative and clinic tasks are accurately performed in a timely manner aimed at meeting both patient and physician needs. Trouble shoots problems and issues.Compensation Range:$29.89 - $45.50Department Website:https://www.ent.uci.edu/index.aspRequired:Minimum two years supervisory experienceClinical knowledge to effectively supervise LVNs. Skills to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with a clinic, center or practice. Strong knowledge of LVN patient care standards and care delivery, systems, external regulations, and internal policies. Working knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance, and to participate in decision-making on human resources matters. Detail oriented, with the ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate level of intervention, and apply effective solutions. Solid interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and problem solving with all levels of management and staff. Skills in written and verbal communications, with the ability to convey clinical and technical information in a clear and concise manner.Preferred:Graduation from an approved LVN program preferred.Licensure in relevant patient care support discipline. Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) License required.American Hospital Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (BLS) certification.Knowledge of business software and specialized applications and data management systems used in nursing units or departments. Final candidate subject to background check.
