Position Summary

Michigan State University, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, invites applications for a fixed-term instructor position in environmental engineering beginning August 16, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021. This position is for teaching ENE481, Environmental Chemistry-Equilibrium Concepts in fall 2021. This, 3 credit course, is a major requirement in our undergraduate Environmental Engineering major and an elective in our undergraduate Civil Engineering program. The course covers the environmental engineering application of chemical kinetics, stoichiometry, complexation and precipitation reactions, and redox chemistry. Experience with equilibrium modeling is preferred. The course meets three times a week. The primary duty of this position is teaching. The teaching duties will be consistent with the department policies.
