CONFIDENTIALITY IS REQUIRED. Answering the phone, making labels, filing, making copies, running errands, assisting students as needs arise, and other duties as needed. Learning about disabilities and assistive technology. Assisting students with using computer software, assistive technology equipment, and community resources. Assisting in promoting events and activities in which the Office for Disability Services hosts and participates. The ODS encourages Accessibility, Diversity, and Equity.
This is a valuable work experience and makes an excellent addition for a future employment reference.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be enrolled at LSCPA for the current semester (minimum of 3 hours during the Summer) and maintain a 2.0 or better GPA.
Basic computer skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Highly organized. Must be able to alphabetize files. Responsible, dependable, professional, and punctual behaviors exhibited. Ability to follow instructions and show initiative. Must be able to work as a team and be flexible.Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and a “can-do” Seahawk attitude. Willingness to assist the disabled population and learn skills related to working with a diverse population. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred

Work schedule will be arranged around class schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Must be enrolled in at least 3 hours during the summer. Limited to working no more than 20 hours per week.
