Description
Oversee the freshman recruitment functions including directly supervising the senior freshman staff and managing the entire freshman team. Responsible for hiring and onboarding staff members, providing continuous training and development, completing annual performance reviews and feedback to assist with performance improvement, professional development, and skills/competency development.

 

 

 

Assist with the development of strategic recruitment/marketing plan and territory management for in-state & out-of-state markets. Research statistical analysis with multiple data sources to assist with recruitment efforts and yield initiatives. Use data to develop an understanding of the state & national landscape while also implementing a comprehensive national recruitment plan designed to attract and enroll competitive students. Understand admissions policies and requirements, develop partnerships with university and external constituents, work with other senior leaders on the admissions staff to ensure success within freshman admissions. Position serves as a member of Director’s management team.

 

 

 

Under the direction of the AVP, oversee freshman application processing, holistic review training and execution, committee review, merit-based scholarship review process, and admission/scholarship appeals. Coordinate with marketing staff on brand presence, presentations, scripts, brochures, and any other freshman recruitment related needs. Involvement in other strategic processes may be required i.e. lead management, communication plans, website editing, etc. Manage a specific recruitment territory. Serve as a liaison to high school students/families, college counselors, community, and government agencies, etc. and provide recruitment support as necessary for recruitment events and outreach efforts. Complete general admissions duties including, but not limited to, customer service, applicant processing, holistic review, on-campus events, special projects, campus committees, and any other duties as assigned.

 

 


Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor's degreeFive years of professional experience within College Admissions.Supervisory experienceKnowledge of student information or client relationship management systems preferred. 

 

 

A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate, and the results may affect employment.
