Advertised Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, this individual will assist in conducting NIH-funded research focusing on mosquito-Zika virus interactions using multidisciplinary approaches involving biochemical assays, mass spectrometry, viral genetics, CRISPR/Cas9 genetic screening, and in-vivo mosquito studies.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):

The position requires a PhD in molecular biology or other biomedical sciences field with expertise in techniques
related to proteomics and genomics research as well as gene editing and cell culture techniques; and excellent record-
keeping and writing skills. This expertise could have been gained during the normal course of a doctoral degree program.
