Summary of Duties:
The Fiscal Analyst 2 reports to the Finance /Budget Manager of the Washington State University Foundation. This position performs general and specialized fiscal duties in a wide variety of financial areas including accounting, investments and auditing. The core duties include accounting for Fixed Assets, Notes Receivable, Land/Real Estate, preparing and posting transactions to general ledger systems; preparing billings; producing reports; reconciliations; and preparing audit deliverables. It requires working with several types of computer systems, interacting with University constituencies and assisting the investment lead worker.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, which must include 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint, in addition to other database applications.
Experience working within a higher education setting.
Monthly Salary: $3,446.00
