Summary of Duties:
The purpose of this position is to prepare all or sections or participate in the preparation of various Washington State University, State and Federal financial reports. This position reports to the Financial Reporting Manager. This position will provide support for the preparation of technical accounting transactions and provide direct support in the preparation of the University’s financial statement. The incumbent must be able to work in the main office location of 220 French Administration Building.
A Bachelor’s degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent education/experience.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts and reports, prepare presentations, conduct data analysis and manage information efficiently.
