Overview
The department of Computer Science invites applicants for a newly created Grants Manager position. This individual will work closely with faculty to identify and apply for grants and will be responsible for all pre and post award tasks, monitoring sponsored accounts and preparing budget forecasts. This is a fast paced, highly collaborative role as a senior financial manager, working directly and independently with the Department Manager, Department Chair, other Grants Managers and financial administrators, sponsor personnel, the Office of Sponsored Research Accounting (SRA) and the Office of Research and Project Administration (ORPA). This person serves as a key resource for faculty, students and staff on policy and procedural questions related to grants management and financialcontrols.
