Research Coordinator, Jacobson Center For Comprehensive Literacy

Job description

Coordinates research studies related to literacy education; coordinates evaluation studies of the Center’s various initiatives; seeks funding for research studies related to literacy education; coordinates grant writing and applications for funding of research and projects; engages in outreach and dissemination of research through presentations, publications, and social media/website; leads efforts to disseminate and translate literacy research for school personnel, families, and the community.

PhD or EdD in Education Research or related field required. ABD will be considered. At least two years of experience in research methodology; experience with grant-related projects; successful publication/presentation of research projects; ability to collaborate with others to engage in research and dissemination; and experience working in culturally and linguistically diverse settings required. Graduate student experience will be considered. Occasional work outside normal working hours and travel necessary. Evidence of successful grant writing and completion of a grant project including final reporting; expertise in multiple research methodologies; and understanding of evaluation research methods preferred.
