Requires are least a high school diploma or equivalent. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

Receives cash or meal ticket receipts in payment of bills, purchases, admission to events or other services. Verifies negotiability and cashes checks, and processes refunds for returned items. Checks food trays and determines food costs. Balances cash on hand against receipts, may prepare deposits and reconcile cash statements.

This position will be assigned to work the midnight shift at Snelling Dining Common during the time period Snelling is open 24 hours. During these periods the employee will receive a salary supplement of ($1.25 per hour) in addition to their regular salary. The salary supplement will not be in effect during the times Snelling is not open 24 hours.

Considerable knowledge in methods of handling cash / experience as a teller or cashier in handling and accounting for large sums of money.
