Position Summary:

At the UCI Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, we dedicate ourselves to the education of nursing professionals who will improve patient care and promote population health, locally and globally. We strive to produce leaders in research, education, and clinical practice who will champion collaborative, compassionate, and interdisciplinary evidence-based practice.

Under direct supervision, incumbent will support Dr. Miriam Bender in R01 AHRQ funded study “Organizing Nursing to Improve Care Quality and Safety: a hybrid implementation-effectiveness study”. Incumbent will be in engaged in the following: coordinate data collection, analysis, write-up and dissemination between study investigators and study sites.

Compensation Range:

Hourly Rate salary range: $24.23 - $36.93

Required:

Onea or more years' experience with research conduct Experience with Microsoft Word and excel Statistical program experience (SPSS, R, etc.) preferred

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

Acquiring knowledge of research function. Acquiring ability to perform research analysis duties. Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline. Basic consultation and communication skills.

Preferred:

Master's degree

Acquiring statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design skills to perform research analysis duties.

Special Conditions Required:

Ability to organize and clean collected data to prepare for analysis Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with multiple study team members and participant stakeholders Desire to learn about and conduct qualitative data analysis
