UTK Human Resources is seeking a passionate, creative and enthusiastic executive recruiter who understands the importance of recruiting a diverse and talented leadership team to further impact the success of the University. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence and inclusion by building relationships with respect, integrity, accountability and care. The executive recruiter provides professional level executive recruitment and search consultation to hiring administrators and departments. Consultation revolves around developing strategy, best practices and processes associated with the recruitment and selection for senior administrative positions. The executive recruiter will serve as an ambassador of the University and Knoxville area, will be flexible to the needs of the recruitment cycle and take into consideration specific needs of the candidates and search committees. This position will play a critical role in development of an executive recruiting sourcing database and will develop process and procedures to support this database. Executive recruitment is active across our campus and is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and inclusion goals of the University. Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years progressively responsible recruiting experienceProven experience sourcing candidates and interviewing to identify top talentExperience using applicant tracking systems and candidate databasesExperience guiding and facilitating full-cycle searchesProven experience generating diverse candidate pools
Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s degreeExecutive recruitment experienceExperience in a human resources office in higher education

  • Ability to envision and implement creative solutions to recruiting and process improvement
  • Knowledge of and significant experience with MS Office and database navigation skills

  • Commitment to professionalism, quality and integrity
  • Exceptional communication (oral, written and presentation) and listening skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical skills
