Job Details
The Executive Housekeeper reports directly to the First Lady of Claflin University. He/she is responsible for executive house-cleaning and maintenance of Dunwalton. Responsibilities including ensuring cleanliness and event readiness; supervising other cleaning personnel and grounds keeping; serving as personal assistant to the first lady; managing household deliveries, communicating with external vendors, follow up of orders, greeting guests and visitors; purchase and order groceries and household supplies, keep kitchen stocked and organized; record expenditures, directing and reporting accurate telephone messages and other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
QualificationsPrevious executive level housekeeping experience is required. Candidate must be able to follow directions, present a professional persona and posses exemplary ethics and integrity; must have the ability to operate basic equipment and to complete work independently. Telephone etiquette and basic written and oral communication skills are a must. Candidate must posses exceptional customer service skills. Background check is required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: This position may require some evening and weekend hours.
