  • Position Description:

    The position is a short-term opening for a Research Associate to work on a research project related to housing. The candidate will perform statistical and GIS analysis on housing and census data, write up results in the context of historical U.S. housing policy and may be called to present these results to a wider audience.


    The candidate should be able to work closely with the team and to conduct high-level GIS analysis, perform spatial and regular statistical analyses, and help write a report which will include policy analysis. The candidate will need to have at minimum a Masters degree in geography/urban planning/public administration, strong GIS and quantitative analysis skills, and excellent writing skills. A Ph.D. or Ph.D.-level course work is desirable.  Familiarity with U.S. housing policy is essential.
