Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs., sitting for long periods of time.

Shift:

8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday-Friday.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Services Assistant will be responsible for all purchasing for the Mechanical Engineering department. This will include PRDs, SRMs, Procard edits, as well journal vouchers, and accurately keeping track of purchases and files.

This position also handles payroll assignments for students and staff, and will require prompt SAP actions for hiring, transferring, and separating employees, as well as monitoring time entry and making necessary corrections.

Additionally, the position has other duties including assisting faculty, staff, and students with departmental procedures, reconciling grant accounts, processing grant sub-award payments, ordering office supplies, and serving as a back-up person for travel and event planning.
