Dual Enrollment Registration Specialist provide registrar services and departmental support for the Office of Dual Enrollment. Responsible for student record management, curriculum management, enrollment management services and other defined support for the Office of Dual Enrollment. Includes interaction with college staff, high school staff, DE teachers, students and parents.
Duties and Tasks:
Creating DE classes in SIS with information garnered by coordinators
Collecting enrollment forms from Coordinators and making sure all student
information in SIS is correct
Registering contract students into DE classes
Coordinating the Verification Process
Completing all curriculum management duties relating to contract classes in SIS
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications:Required KSAs:
Detail oriented, strong organizational, time-management and problem solving skills. Able to multitask while staying focused on priorities and work efficiently under critical deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills reflecting sense of understanding, knowledge and confidence. Willingness to provide excellent customer service to all constituencies, going above and beyond to help resolve issues as they arise. Able to work independently and able to work with groups collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for the college and high schools. Ability to help with continuous improvement of the contract dual enrollment systems/process. Adaptable, flexible and a fast learner. Proficient with all Microsoft Office software, particularly EXCEL. Possess a high level of SIS knowledge. Experience with ImageNow / or willingness to learn required technology applications. Ability to pull reports from SIS and effectively communicate results.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in related field, or equivalent training and experience.
Demonstrated experience in customer service positions.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
