Job Id: 633 # of Openings: 1 Wheaton College Conservatory of MusicWheaton, Illinois Position: Symphony Orchestra Conductor Assistant or Associate Professor of Music The Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College (Illinois) invites application for its Symphony Orchestra Conductor. This is a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor position in the Conservatory of Music, to begin August 2022. During the 2021-2022 academic year, up to four finalists will be invited to on-campus residencies in each rehearsing the orchestra and presenting a concert. All candidates should have evidence of successful teaching experience, an earned doctorate or equivalent professional experience, and ability to teach conducting and in other areas. Priority will be given to applicants with records of strong teaching, accomplished performance, and Christian faith.
