Job Summary

The College of Health Sciences & Professions is seeking applications for a Tenured Track, Assistant Professor of Healthcare Science and Informatics Administration.

Responsibilities
  • The Assistant Professor will provide instruction in healthcare services and informatics administration, develop new course offerings in healthcare services and informatics administration; and provide assistance in additional interdisciplinary healthcare program development.
  • Establish and/or continue a research agenda in healthcare informatics and/or interdisciplinary healthcare.
  • Support University and departmental functions, including serving on committees.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Mentor students in healthcare informatics and/or healthcare services
Required Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in healthcare informatics or related field
  • Experience in healthcare informatics in a clinical setting
  • Experience in online teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Professional experience in healthcare informatics
  • Ability to articulate a plan for establishment of a line of research in healthcare services and informatics administration
