Job Description:


This part-time Benefits Assistant (approx. 25 hrs/wk) will be responsible for day-to-day benefit tasks: assisting employees verbally and in writing with inquiries, conducting new hire orientations, verifying accuracy of internal and external data, maintaining the benefits segment of the HRIS system, work injury intake and claims filing, distributing COBRA notices, processing retiree benefit billings and payments, verifying dependent eligibility, and monitoring FSA activity.



Requirements:


This position requires at least two years of experience in human resources or benefits administration and a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent, Associates degree preferred. Successful candidates will possess effective written and oral communication, excellent organizational and customer service skills, a presence to handle sensitive information, and proficiency with MS Office.
