Medical Assistant:$12.88-$14.37/hour
Licensed Practical Nurse$17.04-$19.04/hour

Job Summary:
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directedfollowing established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimumsupervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating thefollowing: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Mayoccasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assistin covering patient load.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and assist patients, both adults and children, observe patientsvisually, and communicate verbally. Ability to stand, bend stretch, stoop,kneel, balance, crouch, walk and run with or without reasonableaccommodations.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required:
-Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK.
-Six (6) months of clinical experience required unless internship completed inthe OSU clinic system
-Valid driver license
-Current CPR certification


Knowledge, Proficiencies, and Skills:
Skilled in delivery of patient care and procedures: medication administration,triage experience, direct pediatric patient care. Knowledge of medicalterminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computerliteracy required. Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment asrequired.
