The Benefits Coordinatorcontributes to the fulfillment of the University’s mission and vision by coordinatingthe University of Toledo benefit programs and initiatives for faculty and staff.This position counsels employees regarding routine benefits programs androuting questions to appropriate area. Assists in communication of benefitsprograms, conducting individual orientation sessions. Maintains benefits records,performs data entry, and prepares necessary documents for implementingcoverage.Qualifications:
1.Requires a high school diploma. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and or equivalent combination
of experience and education
2.Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Benefits or Human Resources environment is preferred.
3.Excellent interpersonal skills
4.Effective problem solving skills
5.Must have demonstrated advanced knowledge of general office practices and procedures
including by not limited to MS software applications with training specific to statistical data
