Each RA supports and mentors 12-14 low-income/first-generation high school students from Native American reservation communities.

- Facilitate virtual evening and weekend activities, attend daily staff meetings, and lead college preparation topics within small RA groups.
- Manage CUUB summer social media posts and assist the director and assistant director with remote projects and program documentation.
- We anticipate that this position will work 30 hours per week, working during the following dates: June 7, 2021- July 23, 2021. Advisors are expected to be readily available to students via phone/virtual calls throughout the 6-week summer program.
- The salary rate for this position is $23.00/hour.
- One year of college coursework.
- Ability to build an inclusive virtual environment for students and fellow staff.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills as well as communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use Zoom, Google Classrooms, Microsoft Office, and Canva graphic design.
- Experience working with CU Upward Bound or similar program.
- Have experience in youth work (advising or mentoring students).
- Experience being part of a team.
