The University of Scranton Department of Chemistry invites applications for a Lecturer in Analytical or Forensic Chemistry beginning in August 2021.
The Chemistry Department consists of 10 full-time faculty members with offices and laboratory space in Loyola Science Center built in 2012. Department instrumentation includes modern spectroscopy (UV-Vis, fluorescence, IR, AA, argon ion laser, Nd:YAG laser, nitrogen laser, dye laser, and spectrometers), chromatography (HPLC, GC, GC-MS) an NMR (300 MHz), and two scanning electron microscopes.
Lecture upper level undergraduates in instrumental analysis and forensic chemistry.
Prepare and supervise experiments in instrumental analysis lab and forensic chemistry lab.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a desire to teach undergraduate and Master’s students.
