Job Summary
Assists in the development and implementation of assessment plans and processes for programs and course-embedded assurance of learning for the assigned college or unit. This includes course-level assessment, assessment of all academic programs and assessment of student success processes and units. Assists with the development, measurement, analysis and reporting of data metrics related to accreditation, RPG, QEP and R2 Roadmap initiatives. This work is instrumental in supporting student success and accreditation efforts for the college. Works with various college and/or department administrators to maintain and update tracking systems that support crucial accreditation information from faculty qualification data to impact measures. Provides reports and support data entry across the broad scope of accreditation-related data


  1. Coordinates assessment activities with faculty and departments to collect data and create reports per established guidelines
  2. Maintains the assessment and other program databases as assigned
  3. Maintains and supports tracking systems that support accreditation
  4. Creates and maintains assessment website for the college
  5. Creates reports, as needed, for AACSB, SACS and ABET accreditations
  6. Maintains and updates tracking systems for faculty qualifications and impact measures
  7. Manages continuous improvement processes for assigned units
  8. Assists leadership with scheduling of classes and enter section information into the electronic system
  9. Manages events for the college, unit or department in the event management system

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in academic assessment and/or database management
Experience with Banner, Curriculog, HTML, database software, Excel, data analytics tools

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Able to learn how to use new data analytic systems and tools
Able to track down data from faculty, chairs, other offices on campus, etc.
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

Proficiency with data analytics/visualization tools and software
Knowledge of KSU and BOR curriculum processes and policies

Proficient project management skills
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
