Job Description

Adjunct faculty on the San Antonio campus, starting in Fall 2021. The successful candidate will teach both lower and upper level undergraduate courses. Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day or night classes or online courses.

Depends on course schedule. Teaching assignments may include day, night, and weekend classes.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Sociology from a regionally accredited institution.

  • Experience teaching sociology at a higher education institution.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in sociology from a regionally accredited institution.

  • Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.

  • Experience in culturally diverse settings.
