Position Description:
The Programmer/Analyst III (Student Affairs Information Technology), under the general supervision of the Manager, Business Analysis group, SAIT will perform the following: (1) Conduct thorough and detailed systems requirement analysis, application design and development for complex systems; (2) Familiar with Business Analysis tools and techniques (Requirements models such as Business Objective Model, Feature Tree, Requirements Mapping Matrix, Process flows, System flows etc.,); (3) Produces sketches, workflow diagrams, wireframes and mockups as needed; (4) Plan and coordinate full system and user acceptance testing for moderately complex to complex systems; (5) Provide valuable inputs for Financial Aid and Scholarships application system on campus with respect to functionality and design; (6) Provide solutions to complex problems applying analytical skills (logical thinking and formulating plans) for SAIT; (7) Work with students, end users, management, technical staff, vendors, and representative from state and federal agencies to gather requirements for and design of applications; (8) Evaluate requests for program, report, and database modifications or enhancements; (9) Working knowledge and experience in SQL; (10) Analyze Production issues and provide solutions.
